Trail Volunteeers needed:

The Prescott National Forest is looking for volunteers to adopt trails and to help with construction of new trails. However, trail administrative positions with the Prescott National Forest have been in transition and the YTA position of PNF liaison is currently vacant. Please return to this site for more information as it develops.

Prescott National Forest "Over the Hill Gang":  The gang has been busy working on the finishing touches on the Feldmeier Trail in the last month or so and will move over to the Garden Party Trail when done with this. They have worked extensively on the Goldwater Lakes trail earlier this year and helped reroute and reestablish the Prescott Circle Trail through the Emanuel Pines area after the timber sale. Remember everyone is welcome to come out on Thursdays to join in the fun over building and maintaining trail. The gang meets every Thursday at 7:50 am at our Cortez Street Office (344 S. Cortez) and leaves promptly at 8am to head out to the trail returning around 1200. Contact Kelly Koch to get set to come out  trail.volunteer.2@gmail.com (Text & photo courtesy, Jason Williams, PNF.)

Prescott City "Over The Hill Gang" is also an all volunteer group dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the Prescott Trail System. Monday and Fridays are typically reserved for Over the Hill Gang work projects, but special projects will occasionally be done on other days. Find out more about how you can become a volunteer .
